Today I'm loving the layered whites of this room by Whitney Fairchild. The warm wood tones and gilt juxtaposed against those gorgeous silver lamps - it brings it all together.
Hi Ann, I agree that this room looks great, and I like all of those objects and they way they are used. However, that pure while upholstery seems a bit uninviting, as though it is putting human reality in subservience to the decoration of the room.
This doesn't have to be. Loi Thai's, interiors, for example, while featuring lots of white, seem relaxing and livable. --Road to Parnassus

Parnassus, oddly I don't decorate like that at home. I have a lot of color saturated furniture, dark wood and leather. But it is a nice look!
