I love that deep blue. Ours are red cherry wood. Pretty standard, but I think it's nice against our bare, white walls.

Ours are boring, my hubs gave away his enormous antique bookcase before he moved into mine when we got married - still regretting that.
Ah B&P, we've been looking for a giant antique bookcase! We found a few that were remarkable but wouldn't fit into our freight elevator, even as they disassembled a bit... the search continues.
BCN, you can't really go wrong with classic wood cases. Right now we've got shoddy ones that were a temporary solution.
